As early as in January 2009, we predicted that a revolution in the availability of mapping and chart data for all types of users was imminent. This statement has now become reality and the principle is simple: easy access to the same chart data as all other actors in society, whether you are in a new city, the sea, in the office or on the cabin.
NaVida is the first and only mobile application based on the best and most updated Norwegian map since the Norwegian Mapping Authority release of viewing services 1. December 2009. It currently has over 50 000 users and is one of the most downloaded free navigational apps on AppStore. The application was released on Google Play 6. June 2012.

Our CEO, Robert Sandvik, an avid recreational enthusiast, says: "NaVida's usability and web access ensures that I always have the best and most updated land-and sea charts with me on trips, whether by foot, bike, ski , car or boat. GPS continuously updates my location on the map. Bookmarks and search function can quickly find my favorite places and make NaVida at the best mobile map application available."
