LZ North APP launched on behalf of The Air Ambulance Services of Norway

On behalf of Luftambulansetjenesten HF, ECC have developed and launched a new mobile application that provide features like high resolution maps, detailed information on each landing zone and high resolution photos of each landing zones.


The Air Ambulance Services of Norway (Luftambulansetjenesten  HF), provide specialized

emergency medicine and is an integrated part of the public emergency services.

There are 500+ predefined landing zones in Norway today.

ECC was awarded the contract to develop a new mobile application in June 2016 and this was resently launched.

The LZ North App provide features like high resolution maps, detailed information on each landing zone and high resolution photos of each landing zones. 

In addition, it's possible for the crew to suggest update to the information while they operate in field. 

Each helicopter, operating on behalf of Air Ambulance Service of Norway , will be equipped with digital tablets/notebooks with the LZ North app where all the information resides and can be updated.


The LZ North solution is build on top of ECC's Maplytic and NaVida products.

ECC Supports Relay for Life (Stafett for Livet)

The Norwegian Cancer Society, in cooperation with American Cancer Society, arranged its first “Stafett for Livet” / “Relay for Life” in Norway’s Randaberg 23 and 24th September 2017. A total of 1400 participants across 40 teams participated in the 24-hour fundraising event.
